The Bible describes the great successes, amazing experiences, and epic failures of many inspiring, flawed people.  I love reading their stories.  Below is a poem of some of their prominent attributes that I hope to learn and grow in (if only a little) during the different seasons of life.  We all experience times when we can relate to each of these historic men and women of God in some way.

Redeemed like Mary Magdalene
Bold like Rahab
Evangelistic like Philip

Obedient like Samuel

Sure like Elisha
Destined like Elijah

Secure like Joseph (Father of Jesus)
A Preparer like John the Baptist
Attentive like Mary (sister of Martha)
Serving like Martha

Warning like Jonah
